Second Meeting of the Committee for Chalking out a Time Bound Action Plan for Micronutrient Fortification of Foods
The Department of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, has set up this committee, consisting of experts from concerned departments of the government of India, research and development institutions, academia, industry and ILSI India. ILSI India also acts as the secretariat for this committee. Further, an Inter-Ministerial Group for Food Fortification has been set up by the Department of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, including representatives from several other ministries. ILSI India has also been nominated to this committee.
