ILSI India organized a branch retreat for members on July 29 in Mumbai, India. The members attached a great deal of importance to this meeting and there was active participation by members in each of the interactive sessions. This meeting was organized to review ILSI India's activities since its formation at the end of 1996, to gain an insight into members' perceptions of the branch's activities, and to generate suggestions for future activities. Based on the discussions held at the Branch Retreat, a document entitled "ILSI India Members' Vision for the Future" has been prepared. This document will provide guidelines for future activities of ILSI India. It was also decided that a Branch Retreat should be held every year.
