The South Asian Food Safety Conference in New Delhi was organized by ILSI India under the FAO/ILSI Cooperative Framework. Attendees discussed food safety and the food trade environment, food safety priorities for South Asia, risk analysis, packaging, management of food control systems in South Asian countries, and identification of specific regional issues relating to food safety.
